Monthly Memories | August.

1. Meeting my little cousin, Grayson, for the first time, who came all the way from Perth to visit.
2. Aunty Rowena, Aunti Ash yGraysons mother), Myself and Ma. Saying goodbye to Ro, as she moves to Holland and Ash, who returns home to Perth. I hate the distance!
3. Daffodils - my favourite flower.
4. An extremely delicious caramel slice I made - with no sugar or dairy! It was a hit.
5. Goodbye to Benn's HQ Holden Kingswood.
6. Hello to our new four-wheeled drive! I am in love. We have never had a car this "fancy" and we feel so blessed!
7. Our first four-wheeled drive experience, only 20minutes from home. How I love where I live!
8. Four-wheeled drive selfies.

Budgeting.

Our lives are all about budgeting these days. Down to the dollar. My man works very hard to keep us afloat while I study full-time at university (and not work) so budgeting has helped us keep track of our spendings.
It sounds silly, but I have never seen the "point" in it before. But after sitting down one day and working out what we spent (roughly) each week it became clear that we need to keep a written record of what needs to be paid/bought and what we want. We haven't really saved anything, but we haven't gotten a better grasp of large bills that were over due and things will look up soon. Our ultimate goal is to buy a house in 2014.
Being a grown up is hard sometimes. I guess mum was right when she said dont rush to grow up.

New Start, New Blog.

I have decided to start a new blog to record our lives. I have had a blog in the past, however it was a "personal" blog, so I hope to start this one as we journey of our lives as a married couple, starting on the road to making a family.

To introduce myself, my name is Neive and I am a 23 year old living on the Central Coast, in NSW Australia with my husband, Benn, and our 3 staffty babies, Chloe (Female, 4), Petal & Stallone (Female and Male, 18months). We have been together since March 2009 and married since January 2013.

Life is full of ups and downs and I love keeping a record of things I have to do (I am obsessed with to-do lists) and things I have done (I love looking back). Over the next few weeks I will try and find the time (in-between my many university assignments) to create an "about us" page and add a few links to my page. It will be a perfect excuse to procrastinate, which I am very good at.
